NEWS FLASH ! The 2009 Economic Stimulus legislation signed into law on Feb. 17, 2009 by President Obama includes a 30% tax credit (up to $1,500) for the purchase in 2009 and 2010 of a 75%-efficient wood-burning appliance. While the new tax credit takes effect immediately, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has not issued the guidelines for determining what stoves meet the efficiency requirements to qualify for the credit or how a manufacturer will qualify their products. These guidelines are expected by March 31, 2009. As the cost of electricity and LP propane gas continue to rise, this is an incredible opportunity to save significant money and to get a highly efficient appliance that will continue to save you money for years to come. Please see http://www.hpba.org/index.php?id=34 for Questions and Answers on the tax credit. |

Here's what one of our customers said about us:
Dear Jeffrey,
Thanks to your help, both technical and spiritual, our fireplace is now complete. I cannot begin to tell you how wonderful this addition is to our house. Our family now sits by the fire and relaxes to the warmth and enjoys the show the flames put on.
For the past fifteen years I've procrastinated installing a fireplace, and each time I started, I was turned off by the lack of support I found on Oahu. When I read your ad in the Yellow Pages to call collect, I took a chance that the neighbor islands would be more people-oriented, and not to my surprise, I was right.
I thought installing a fireplace would be the most difficult home project I would ever undertake, but I was wrong. Installing the fireplace was not that bad. Your letter of helpful hints an access via the telephone made my job achievable. It's amazing what you can do when motivated by cold damp weather.
Should you ever have another customer from Oahu who needs a non-biased opinion before deciding what do , have them contact me. I would be more than happy to share my experience with them.
Once again, thank you for all your help.
Sincerely,
Michael Raymond
